About

I am a Speech and Language Therapist based in Reading, Berkshire.

I set up Speaking at Listening in 2014 in response to an increased need for Speech and Language Therapy which current provisions are not always able to meet. I worked for the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist for over 10 years and have a wide range of experience. I am a member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists, Health and Care Professionals Council and the Association of Speech & Language Therapists in Private Practice.

“Communication is a vital skill required by everyone and underpins everything we do.  Children with communication difficulties struggle to read, learn, make friends, socialise and express their emotions.”

I strongly believe all children deserve the opportunity to fully develop their communication skills to ensure they achieve their potential. I offer a professional and friendly service working with parents and education settings to ensure these opportunities are not missed.
